V.P. BOWHUNTING:

            Happy New Year to everyone.

I hope you had an exciting and safe end of the year.  Just a reminder to submit any animals you harvested this past year.  It's easy to do, just send me an email with a picture and we will make sure your animal gets the recognition it deserves.

I'm sure getting the itch to start shooting some indoor.  Hope to see everyone at state.

V.P. Tournaments:

Fellow Archers,

I have been having fun chasing bobcats.  I did get one female before Christmas with my rifle.  I am chasing a big tom right now along with coyotes and my Ghost Blind works really well.

Friend and fellow archer Chris Wolkensdofer was setting in his tree stand right after Christmas and saw a big tom bobcat coming towards his stand.  He made a quick call and the cat came on in.  He got a nice clean shot.  He also got a real nice mule earlier in the season.

Back to business, just want to remind everybody about the state indoor.  Please try to pre-register by email to Judy or me; it makes it easier for us.  I will be down there Friday before the shoot at 4:00 to take registration if you can't get pre-registered.  Thank you.

Garden City has found a new indoor range for the rest of the year.  It is on Anderson Road so if anyone is in the area and would like to shoot, please call me.

Thank you, hope everybody has a good year.  Hope to see you at state indoor.
